Which rental fits your group
Written from each listing and from what guests said after staying. Ratings are guest reviews collected in our booking system.
| Home | Sleeps | Who it suits | Guest rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shoy's Beach House | 12 | Families sharing a house: five en-suite bedrooms around one courtyard and a back garden that opens on the beach. The main villa sleeps ten; the cottage that makes it twelve costs extra. | 4.9 (11 reviews) |
| Toes in the Sand Beach House | 8 | A group that wants a pool and a deck looking toward Buck Island. One guest review rates the beach in front better for walking than swimming. | 5.0 (28 reviews) |
| The Cerulean | 12 | Several families at once: a main house plus a guest cottage with its own kitchen, and reef-protected water to snorkel from the property's own beach. | 4.9 (11 reviews) |
| Buck Island Views | 6 | Three couples, or parents with grown kids: two detached guest suites, each with a bathroom, around a private pool. | 5.0 (1 review) |
| Sunset Sea-Clusion | 4 | A couple or a family of four after a private pool and the sun going down over the sea. | — |
| Hook 'em on Paradise | 6 | Six people who like bold color and a balcony over the water, with a telescope for the night sky, inside gated Judith's Fancy. | 4.5 (4 reviews) |
| Dragonfly Villa | 8 | Eight people who plan to cook: a kitchen stocked far past the usual rental, a saltwater infinity pool and four patios on the sea. | 4.6 (13 reviews) |
| The Buck Island Overlook | 12 | A big family or two families: two kitchens and two living areas, with twelve sleeping across five beds and two sleeper sofas. | — |
| Moko Vista | 4 | A couple or small family staying a while: hilltop patio, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and no pool. | 5.0 (2 reviews) |
| Beach-Access Condo | 6 | Friends or a family who want to walk out to the beach and eat at the restaurant on site. You share the pool and beach with the complex. | 4.9 (34 reviews) |
| Sunset Oasis | 4 | Two couples: each bedroom has its own bathroom and the laundry is in the unit. You share the pool and hot tub. | — |
| Caribbean Blue Hideaway | 2 | Two people: a third-floor corner condo at Long Reef with Buck Island in view from the balcony. You share the pool. | — |
Where on St. Croix to rent
St. Croix runs 22 miles end to end, so the side you choose decides how far you drive to dinner, to the beach and to the airport.
The East End
Dry and quiet, this is the far end of St. Croix. Buck Island lies offshore, and the country's easternmost point at Point Udall is a short drive away. Allow 30 to 40 minutes to the airport for most homes here. Town is well behind you, so expect to drive to dinner. Browse the East End homes.
Rentals here: The Cerulean, Buck Island Views, Dragonfly Villa, The Buck Island Overlook and Moko Vista.
Around Christiansted
Pick this side if you want dinner out without a long drive. Waterfront restaurants and the Buck Island boat trips are close. Condos here sit 15 to 20 minutes out from the airport, villas 20 to 25. Judith's Fancy to the west of town and Estate Shoys to the east are both gated.
Rentals here: Shoy's Beach House, Toes in the Sand Beach House, Hook 'em on Paradise, Beach-Access Condo, Sunset Oasis and Caribbean Blue Hideaway.
The West End
The sunset coast. Frederiksted is your town, with Rainbow Beach, the long pier and Mahogany Road's rainforest nearby. It is the closest end to the airport, only 10 to 15 minutes away. Browse the West End homes.
Rentals here: Sunset Sea-Clusion.
How prices and booking work
We leave nightly rates off these pages, since they shift with the season and how long you stay. Put your dates into the search above: each home then shows its total, or the reason those dates won't work. The figure comes live from the booking system and adds up the base rate, any weekly discount, cleaning, the card fee and hotel tax.
Expect a minimum stay. For a February 2027 search we ran on November 5, 2026, each home wanted four or five nights.
Reservations go through the home's booking page at book.spvacationsvi.com. After that your contact is the Sterling Point team on St. Croix: phone 340-205-3929, or write to [email protected]. Booking direct, step by step.
When to book
Mid-December to April brings the coolest, driest weather and the most visitors, and those weeks go first. In our November 5, 2026 search, most homes were already booked for Christmas week and for one week in February, while most were still free for a week in March and a week in June. Got a holiday in mind? Search those dates before anything else. The best time to visit breaks down the year.
Questions about renting on St. Croix
Which St. Croix rentals are on the beach?
Shoy's Beach House, Toes in the Sand Beach House, The Cerulean, Beach-Access Condo and Sunset Oasis list beachfront among their amenities, but the shore changes a lot from one to the next. Read our notes on each beach before choosing.
Which rentals have a private pool?
Shoy's Beach House, Toes in the Sand Beach House, The Cerulean, Buck Island Views, Sunset Sea-Clusion, Hook 'em on Paradise, Dragonfly Villa and The Buck Island Overlook. Condos have pools as well, shared with other guests in the building.
What is the largest rental, and the smallest?
Shoy's Beach House, The Cerulean and The Buck Island Overlook sleep 12, and Caribbean Blue Hideaway sleeps 2. At Shoy's Beach House, reaching twelve takes the cottage, which you request and pay for separately.
Do I need a passport or a rental car?
U.S. citizens can leave the passport at home, since this is U.S. territory; a government ID will do. You do want a car. The homes are spread out, ride-hailing apps don't operate here, and you drive on the left.
Can I rent for a month or longer?
Some listings allow long stays, and a month can price differently from a week. Write to us with the dates and we will say which homes can do it.
Who looks after the house during my stay?
Sterling Point's own team, who live on the island. Ask them about a private chef or a full fridge on arrival; concierge requests are quoted before you commit.
