Toes in the Sand Beach House

The home was warm and welcoming. A very quiet and relaxing atmosphere and a great family-oriented neighborhood. Will again and also recommend to others.

We spent 7 days at this property affectionately labeled "Toes in the Sand". It is an amazing property. We loved the large open living area with a gorgeous pool and ocean view. In fact all bedrooms and the great room have amazing ocean views. Very clean. Well stocked. The house is on cistern water like many in St. Croix. We had no problems with lack of water or water pressure. All worked great for us. The gated community is nice. The house is right on the beach. The house, deck, and pool are very private. This is the north shore of St. Croix so there are often waves. The waves were 3 - 6 feet while we were there. They break about 100 yards out, so they roll into the beach much smaller. The waves make for wonderful sound especially sleeping at night. You can walk out into the water but it is not too swimable given the rocks, coral, and rougher water. But the beach is sandy and great for just hanging out and enjoying the view. While we were there the location was surfable. We watched a handful of surfers from the deck. Great ocean sunrises! The sunset is in front of the house. Very clean. Bathrooms are all tile and very nice. The outdoor shower was a really cool feature. It is also very private. It's just a short, easy drive to Christiansted. Cell phones and GPS work great on the island. The house WIFI worked well. If you have never driven on "the other side of the road", don't fear. We hadn't either. It was not hard and we easily got the hang of it in the first day. Joleigh helped us get from the airport to the house and took care of us all week answering questions and offering recommendations for things to do and dining. She was very personable and knowledgeable. She did a great job for us. The process, property and people were all A+ in our book.

(July - 2025) Loved the layout and open main room, pool was a hit for all ( kids and adults), outside entry room for the teens was right up their ally and the two main bedrooms for the adults were well equipped and clean, outside shower was a hit for all!!The view from the deck is absolutely amazing with views of Buck Island and beautiful sunrises in or out of the pool!! We saw multiple kinds of wildlife (Sea and Land types).Gated community and they take the gating seriously, we felt very safe even with teens staying back without an adult.A couple things to note:Water pressure is limited so plan around showers/washers/etc.Internet coverage/bandwidth is limited as well as streaming services are limited as well.Beach is accessible but not swimmable due to rocks and coral formations.
